HICKORY — Louise H. Huffman, 83, of Hickory, died July 21, 2003, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson and Lottie Kaylor Huffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy Huffman; a brother, Harvey Huffman; and a sister, Frankie Pruitt.
Survivors include her husband, McCoy A. Huffman of Hickory; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen Huffman of Hickory, Scott and Sherri Huffman of Hickory and Phillip Huffman of Hickory; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Cecil Barbour of Conover; six sisters, Mary Bolch of Hickory, Betty Owens of Arizona, Lois Isenhour of Hickory, Nellie Lutz of Lenoir, Shirley Fisher of Kannapolis and Virginia Anderson of Hickory; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funerals & Cremations at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 23, 2003, with the Rev. Homer Greene officiating.
Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park. She was buried in Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, Catawba County, NC.
