Eula [Bolch] BOLICK and Dallas R. WHITENER were married before 1923. Dallas R. WHITENER, son of James Robert WHITENER and Candace Magdelena HAWN, was born on 2 July 1895 in Catawba County, North Carolina.^{1488,1782,1783} He lived as a student at 4th Avenue near 8th Street, with his brother, John Claude in Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina in 1909.¹⁶⁴¹ He died on 30 March 1964 at the age of 68 in Catawba County, North Carolina.¹⁴⁸⁸ Dallas was buried in Fairview (Houck's Chapel) Cemetery, Hickory, North Carolina.
