233. Anna "Annie" STINE was born on 22 December 1826 in Lincoln (Catawba County), North Carolina.57,115,308,575,576 She died on 27 June 1904 at the age of 77 in Catawba County, North Carolina and was buried in St. Luke's Lutheran Church Cemetery.308

Anna "Annie" STINE and Noah SIMMONS were married before 1851. Noah SIMMONS, son of Daniel SIMMONS and Sarah [unknown surname] SIMMONS, was born about 1824 in Lincoln (Catawba County), North Carolina.115,203 He sold land He sold land to Levi Deal. He paid Noah Simmons $125.00 for ninety acres on the head waters of Lyles Creek on 28th day of February, 1850. His record in the War Between the States is as follows:218 SIMMONS, NOAH, Private, Company C, 28th Regiment North Carolina Troops - Resided in Catawba County where he enlisted on March 14, 1863, for the war. Captured at Wilderness, Virginia, May 12, 1864. Confined at Point Lookout, Maryland, until transferred to Elmira, New York, August 10, 1864. Died at Elmira on April 10, 1865, of "chro[nic] diarr[hoea]." He died on 10 April 1865 at the age of 41 in Elmira, NY during the Civil Was in a Union Prison.577 Noah appeared in the census in 1870.575 Noah and John Stine were neighbors on Lyle's Creek, and the families were close.  Henry Stine was surety for the marriage bond of John and Mollie Stine Simon.  Daniel Stine, and later his son John, took in Sally Simmons, daughter of Mollie and John, after their apparent deaths.
