She is survived by three nephews, James Gary Bolick and wife, Kay, Kenneth Ray Bolick and wife, Rita, and Jerry Wayne Bolick and wife, Martha; a niece, Judy B. Grindstaff; a great-niece, Kimberly Annas and husband, June; a great-great-grandnephew, A.J. Annas; and a great-great-grandniece, Mary Elizabeth Annas. The family will receive friends at Drum Funeral Home in Conover on Saturday, Jan. 1, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a graveside service following in St. Paul’s Memorial Park, with the Rev. Ray Eugene TEAGUE, son of Cletus Eugene TEAGUE and Sally Pearl ECKARD, was born on 16 December 1921 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He died on 2 September 2002 at the age of 80 in Brian Center East, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina. He was buried in St. Paul's Memorial Park, Newton, North Carolina. His obituary appeared as follows: Ray Eugene Teague, 80, of Brian Center East, formerly of Startown, died Monday, September 02, 2002 at Brian Center East. Born December 16, 1921 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Cletus Eugene Teague and Sally Pearl Eckard Teague. He had retired from Broyhill Furniture in Conover, and had served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Startown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Raymond Teague, and a sister, Mozell Teague Frye. Survivors include: Wife: Mildred Bolick Teague of Newton; Sisters: Sula Mae Coulter of Startown; Pauline Woodring of Startown; Frances Cook of Newton; Lucille Reynolds of Newton; Brothers: Harvey Teague of Claremont; Bobby Teague of Valdese; Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Weldon Sheets will officiate and burial will follow in St. Paul’s Memorial Park in Startown. Military Graveside Rites will be performed by American Legion Post 16.
