Moser. Educated: N. C. Coll., A.B. 1874. Married Laura Hester Watkins, near China Grove, Dec. 26, 1881. Children: Frank Llewellyn, Hazel, Earle Edwin, Max Ivan, Ruth, Carl Luther, John Frederick. Ordained 1889 by Tenn. Synod. Churches served: In N. C: St. Luke (organized and built church), Monroe-Morning Star, Mecklenburg Co.. 1889-95; Emmanuel, Lincolnton, 1892-95; Lutheran Chapel, Gastonia, 1895-97; Good Shepherd, Mt. Holly, 1892-97. Teacher, Concordia Coll., 1884-89. Taught schools in Salisbury and near Mt. Moriah Church, Rowan Co., presumably between 1S74 and 1884. President, Tenn. Synod, 1894-95. Died Feb. 3, 1897, two months before 43rd birthday; buried at Mt. Holly.
