These records are ALL inventories of estates. Some are intestate estates and some are testate.
Where you see the same name twice on different pages. It is another inventory done for some reason or other, sometimes the sales of slaves.
Somtimes there is a back track in years because the clerk would put small inventories anywhere he could find space in the book. So, you will have an inventory done, in 1850 and then one in 1847/8 on the same page. Some are two lines long and some are 10 pages long.
