Isaac Richardson of Halifax Research

THIS RICHARDSON FAMILY (which is of Halifax and other coastal counties) MAY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ONES IN CHATHAM CO.

BUT, MANY OF THIS ISAAC RICHARDSON FAMILY ARE SO SURE THAT THE ISAAC IN CHATHAM IS THE SAME ISAAC AS BELOW, I AM POSTING THIS.
AS YOU CAN SEE, THE ISAAC IN CHATHAM DIED IN 1833. THE ISAAC HERE DIED IN KY IN 1845!!
I HAVE PROOF OF BOTH!!

MANY OF THE FIRST NAMES ARE SIMILAR AND BECAUSE THE NAME ISAAC, WAS NOT USED BUT A FEW TIMES IN SEVERAL GENERATIONS, I'M PUTTING THIS HERE, JUST IN CASE SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN PROVIDE THE TIE BETWEEN THEM.

MAYBE THERE IS A CONNECTION A GENERATION OR SO BACKWARDS AND SOME BROTHERS HAVE NAMED THEIR SONS FOR A FATHER OR GRANDFATHER??
I AM NOT RELATED, ONLY DID SOME OF THE RESEARCH FOR THESE PEOPLE, OVER SEVERAL YEARS.

A SMALL PART OF WHAT IS HERE IS NOT MY RESEARCH, BUT, INFO GIVEN ME BY OTHERS.. I CANNOT VOUCH FOR THE ACCURACY OF THEIR WORK. MY WORK IS MARKED IN RED AND I HAVE DOCUMENTS TO BACK IT UP.
A large portion of this family went to Canada to the Province of Ontario and they are listed as 'Black or Mulatto' in every case, up there. They intermarried in Canada, with Black and Mulatto. Some came back to the U.S. by the 1850 census and are in Michigan and other northern areas.
The ones that went to KY some times were listed as 'Mulatto' and sometimes not. Tree is listed below.

****Update by Deloris Williams, June 2020: DNA is showing that some descendants in this family are related to the RICHARDSON Halifax Co, NC families who were Free People of Color. The most likely connection was from the family of William Richardson (ca 1740-1798; believed to be a brother of Benjamin Richardson, d. 1809), whose 1798 will identified his children: sons Elijah, Matthew, Henry, William, and daughters Mourning, Harty, Olive, Winnie & Christian. Most of William's sons disappear after the 1800 census, with 3 of them last being mentioned in a deed in 1802 in Warren County when Elijah purchased land from my ancestor, James Evans. Only one son, William, was in the 1810 Census, the others most likely left the area, or died. The son, Matthew had apparently died shortly after his father since he was the only one not listed in the 1800 Census but there was a woman, Pherobe Richardson, head of household of 4 Other Free, listed amongst William, Henry & Elijah Richardson. She was also there in 1820 and in the Nash County 1850 Census, which showed her to be an 89 year old, Ferebee Richardson, mulatto, living with her son, Gideon Richardson, b. 1794, having moved his family there in 1846. It is my belief that Pherobe was the widow of Matthew Richardson, and that Isaac was one of their sons.

Additionally, Milberry Lynch was likely a daughter of Patsy Lynch, b. ca 1774, FPOC, who was also the mother of at least 7 other LYNCH surnamed children.
