Cannon/Kenon Breazeale
(Brazile) b. Aug. 1753 in VA, was the son of Henry Breazeale,
Jr. of Henrico Co. VA. Cannon was the 10th and youngest son of Henry who
left his will in Hillsborough, Granville Co. (later Abbeville Co.) SC.
on 1/16/1767. It was probated 4/2/1770.

married 1. Haskey Griffin, dau. of Wm. Griffin and Sarah Kirksey. She b.
7-29-1767, d. 3-26-1829.
married 2. Lucy Poole (no children) He was deeded 200 acres of land
on Pokeberry Creek, Haw River, Chatham Co. NC, also, on 8-10-1789, where
he lived in 1790 as Cannon "Brigah" with a wife and one male (Enoch) under
16. He moved to Pendleton Dist., now Anderson Co. SC. where members of
the family were buried on the plantation, consisiting of over 2800 acres.
The bodies of Cannon and Haskey were removed to Dorchester (BaptistP Church
Cem., nearby.
