1 - This cemetery is almost totally destroyed; there are at least 12 -
18 unmarked graves.
2 - Evander and Caroline (Carrie) were slaves of John Drake of Robeson
County, NC. They were willed to his daughter, Clarky
Sophia Purcell, in 1863. (Robeson County Register Volume 1, No 2, Page
6, May 1986)
3 - Also buried here, but without a marker, is Evans Drake 3/15/1839 -
3/18/1920, son of Robert & Jennie Drake, Ransom Township, Columbus
County;
