This Indenture made this the 2nd day of March 1819 between Alexander King, Moses King, James King, Duncan King, and Solomon King of the county of Bladen & State of North Carolina of the one part & Isaac Powell of the county of Columbus of the state aforesaid. Witnesseth that we the said Alexander King, Moses King, James King, Duncan King, and Solomon King for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Isaac Powell before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt thereof we do hereby acknowledge and ourselves fully satisfied, contented & paid, do by these presents give, grant, bargain, sell, enfeoff, convey & confirm to the said Isaac Powell, his heirs, Execs, Admns, and assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land in the aforesaid county of Bladen in Buckhead Swamp beginning at a pine a fore and aft tree & runs [810?] chs to a stake & three pines, then E 25 chs, then N 40 chs, then W 25 chs, then S 30 chs to the beginning, surveyed the 9th of Nov for Edmund Holmes, 1782 & sold by said Holmes to Duncan King & by the heirs of Duncan King to I. P. the present purchaser, to have and to hold therefore said tract or parcel of land containing 100 acres to the said Isaac Powell, his heirs, Execs, Admns, & assigns to their own proper use and behoof forever with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining & we the sd Alex King, Moses King, James King, Duncan King, and Solomon King doth further covenant, agree to, & with the said Isaac Powell, his heirs, Execs, Admns, & assigns that we our heirs, Execs, Admns, and assigns, shall & will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid bargained premises unto him, the aforesaid Isaac Powell, his heirs, Execs, Admns, and assigns & that we will at any time or times hereafter at the reasonable request of him the said Isaac Powell, his heirs, Execs, Admns, or assigns, execute any other deed or deeds for the further & better conveyance of the premises aforesaid. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this day & date above written, signed, sealed, and delivered in the presence of Enoch Daniel May Term 1819. The within deed was proved
in open court by the oath of Enoch Daniel
