Historical Records Survey of North Carolina, 1940. The primary goal of the WPA cemetery survey in North Carolina was to record burials of those that died in the years before 1913 or 1914, when death certificates began to be issued. Therefore, this cemetery survey should in no way be considered complete. Transcribed by Natasha Miles, May 2012. |
