Submitted by Dave High, March 1998 Updates contributed by Pat Norris, June 2010 Note from Dave High: This cemetery was surveyed by Anita Barfield and Kay Duncan for their book, "They're Buried in Our Past", published in 1983. It was their #45, page 62, and called "Pierce Cemetery." The cemetery is in the woods off Road 1909, which is off Road 1908, which is off Road 1001, south of Hallsboro in the "Elbow" community. Note from Pat Norris: The cemetery has a committee now and have done a lot of work in the cemetery and would like the name changed to Elbow-Pierce Cemetery. They have a nice plaque with that name on it.
