Florence Elizabeth Berry, daughter of Mary Frances White Berry and \r\nRichard Thomas Berry, was the mother of Richard Berry Fulford, my father. \r\nFlorence Marian Fulford Deppe was my father's younger sister, known to \r\nher friends as \"Dinah.\" The only Berry children to survive to adulthood \r\nwere Edward Thomas Berry, Florence Elizabeth, and Mary Cassandra \r\n\"Mamie-Auntie\" Berry. Mary Cassandra Berry married late in life to her \r\nfirst cousin, Confederate officer Captain Edward J. White. \r\n\r\nTHE WHITE FAMILY BIBLE\r\n\r\nbelonged to Mrs. William H. Deppe (Florence Marian Fulford), \r\nPollocksville NC.\r\n\r\nInformation extracted in 1963 by Elizabeth Moore and in the Elizabeth \r\nMoore Collection #322, East Carolina University Manuscript Collection, \r\nJoyner Library, Greenville, NC.\r\n\r\n(NOTE: The White Family Bible was destroyed in a flood in Reading PA \r\nin 1963.) \r\n\r\nWhichcot White married Rachel Swan 9 January 1820.\r\n\r\nWhichcot White married Cassandra White15 June 1828. \r\n\r\nLeroy M. White married Sarah W. Simmons 22 December 1842.\r\n\r\nRichard T. Berry married Mary F. White 10 March 1857.\r\n\r\nE. J. White married Mary C. Berry 20 May 1926 (recent entry).\r\n\r\nFlorence E. Berry married Walter Fulford 26 March 1890.\r\n\r\nEdward Thomas Berry married Susan Jasper Rue 10 October 1883.\r\n\r\nWhichcot White, son of Nancy and Whichcot White, was born \r\n24 November 1793. \r\n(date questionable)\r\n\r\nRachel Swan, daughter of Elizabeth and Ephraim Swan, was born 2 November 179 \r\n(last numeral illegible).\r\n\r\nCassandra White, daughter of James A. White, was born 17 March 1802.\r\n\r\nLeRoy M. White, son of Rachel and Whichcot White, was born 12 November 1820.\r\n\r\nReubin Thomas White, son of Rachel and Whichcot White, was born 26 January 1824.\r\n\r\nSarah Ann, daughter of Mary F. and Richard T. Berry, died 30 July 1861.\r\n\r\nSamuel Chapman, son of Mary F. and Richard T. Berry, born on 19 November 1860,\r\n died in Graham, NC on 22 July 1863.\r\n\r\nJames, son of Mary F. and Richard T. Berry, born 8 March 1861, died in \r\nGraham, NC on 5 August 1864.\r\n\r\nWhichcot White, son of Nancy and Whichcot White, died 1868.\r\n\r\nMary C. Berry, daughter of Mary F. and Richard T. Berry, was born 30 November 1864.\r\n\r\nFlorence E. Berry, daughter of Mary F. and Richard T. Berry, was born in \r\nNew Bern NC on 2 November 1866.\r\n\r\nEdward Thomas White, son of Cassandra and Whichcot White, was born 15 April 1830.\r\n\r\nMary Frances White, daughter of Cassandra and Whichcot White, was born 1 January 1837.\r\n\r\nLewis White, son of Nancy and Whichcot White, was born 31 May 1798.\r\n\r\nEdward Thomas Berry, son of Mary F. and Richard T.
