Know all Men by these Presents, That we, George Wilder 
& James Cashwell

are held and firmly bound unto the State of North Carolina, in the sum of 
One Thousand Dollars, Current Money, to be paid to the said State of North 
Carolina: for which payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, 
our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these 
presents.  Sealed with our seals, and dated this 9th day of February A.D. 1854.

The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That whereas the above bounden George Wilder 
Hath made application for a LICENSE for a MARRIAGE to be celebrated between him and Mi? Sarah 
Fisher of the County aforesaid: Now in case it shall not appear hereafter, that there is any 
lawful cause of impediment to obstruct the said Marriage, then the above Obligation to be void, 
otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY

TO ANY REGULAR MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL HAVING THE CURE OF SOULS, OR ANY JUSTICE OF 
THE PEACE FOR SAID COUNTY.

You, or any of you, are hereby authorized to celebrate and solemnize the RITE OF MATRIMONY 
between John A. Wilder son of George & Sarah Wilder and Elizabeth A. Fisher daughter of Daniel 
& Jane Fisher and join them together as MAN AND WIFE.

Witness, JOHN FREY, Register of Deeds, at Office, this 23 day of Sept. A.D. 1868.
