This bible is presently in possession of Elsie David, Clio, South Carolina, a descendant of Willoughby D. Stephens (b. 1-15-1807 d. 2-24-1886) and his wife, Martha Ann Thames (b. 7-19-1831 d. 4-5-1914), Willoughby D. and Martha Ann Stephens resided in Cumberland County, North Carolina, until c. 1883 when they moved to Marlboro County, South Carolina, near Clio.
Some of the notations are not legible. Those notations with question marks indicate that the name or spelling may be incorrect.
