11 Aug 1902 - Application for Letters of Administration - E.W. BAXTER states that Maggie M. BAXTER, late of Norfolk Co., Va.. is dead without leaving any will and testament; that he is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration; that the value of the estate is worth about $250.00 and that E.W. BAXTER, Mary A. BAXTER, Hellen H. BAXTER, Margaret D. BAXTER and Lucy A. BAXTER are entitled as heirs thereof.  /s/ E.W. BAXTER [oath of administrator follows this document]

15 June 1903 - First & Final Acct. of E.W. BAXTER, administrator of the estate of Maggie M. BAXTER, deceased, his wife.  Received of E.W. ANSELL, Clerk of Superior Court, the sum of $488.96, money paid into said clerk's hands by J.E.C. BELL, Admr of M.D. BAXTER, dec'd., for safe keeping.  Nothing is due the estate.  /s/ E.W. BAXTER, Administrator
