John W. Brabble - 1906
23 Nov 1906 - Report of Commissioners on One Year's Support. Commissioners allot to Adeline BRABBLE, widow of John W. BRABBLE, decd, one note secured by mortgage on real estate executed on July 26, 1902 by Noah SEYMORE to the said John W. BRABBLE. There being no crop, stock or provisions on hand or other personal property, five notes for $62.50 each due respectively on Jan. 1, 1907, 1908, 1909, 1910, & 1911 with interest from Jan. 1, 1906. This leaves a deficiency of $70.70. We find there is one child under the age of 15. /s/ L. WALKER, G.A. GRIGGS, E.D. FORBES
26 Nov 1906 - Judgment for Deficiency. Adeline BRABBLE, widow of John W. BRABBLE, decd, vs. the personal representative of the estate, sues for $70.70 which was deficient on her one year's support. /s/ E.W. ANSELL, Clerk Superior Court
NOTE: John Brabble married Adeline Brumsey in Crawford Twp., Currituck Co., NC on Jan. 10, 1878. John W. and Adeline lived in Crawford Twp. when the 1880 census was taken and they had one daughter, Ida, who was age 1.
