3 Oct 1910 - Application for Letters of Administration. Dr. W.T. GRIGGS, being sworn, states that W.T. CURLES late of Currituck Co. is dead, having been dead more than six months and not leaving a will and that he is the proper person entitled to letters of administration. He further states that the value of the estate is about $700.00 and that W.T. CURLES, John CURLES, Walter CURLES, Charlie CURLES, Addie CRAIN, Mrs. Winslow? O'NEAL & Nancy HARVEY, all of Waterlily, NC, and Mary NICHOLS of Lamberts Point, Va. are entitled as heirs thereof. /s/ W.T. GRIGGS
11 Dec 1911 - $157.05 - Amount of cash on land received from Pierce HAMPTON through W.H. HAMPTON for personal property belonging to the estate and sold by Pierce HAMPTON before the administrator qualified. /s/ E.W. ANSELL, Clerk of Court
