21 Jan 1885 - We, the undersigned heirs at law of Sarah J. DOXY, dec'd., do hereby renounce our right to administer on her estate and ask that J.L. DeCORMIS be appointed.  /s/ Thos. H. FULFORD, Isaac H. FLORA, N.B. POYNER, Lucretia E. ETHERIDGE

22 Jan 1885 - Letter from N.B. POYNER to Mr. ANSELL stating "I have seen Isaac H. FLORA & Thos. H. FULFORD and they agree to join me in becoming responsible for the satisfaction of Mrs. Ann FORBES and Mrs. Charlotte PERKINS, heirs at law of the estate of Sarah J. DOXY, dec'd., in having Mr. J.L. DeCORMIS administer on said estate.  /s/ N.B. POYNER

23 Jan 1885 - Administrator's Oath taken by J.L. DeCORMIS.  /s/ J.L. DeCORMIS

23 Jan 1885 - Application for Letters of Administration.  J.L. DeCORMIS states that Sarah J. DOXEY is dead and that he is entitled to letters of administration in favor of the renouncement of T.H. FULFORD, Isaac H. FLORA, N.B. POYNER, & Lucretia E. ETHERIDGE, heirs at law of the said Sarah J. DOXEY.  He further states that the estate is worth about $250.00 and that Mary FULFORD, N.B. POYNER, Lucretia E. ETHERIDGE, Ann H. FORBES, Charlotte PERKINS, Chloe POYNER, Mrs. [blank] SMITH, and Mrs. Isaac FLORA are entitled as heirs at law and distributees of the same.  /s/ J.L. DeCORMIS
