27 Mar 1906 - Order for Probate of Will. A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Z.M. DOXEY, living, and Mary DOXEY, deceased, is exhibited in open Court by W.A. DOXEY, executor and is proved by the oath of W.L. OWENS and Georgia M. HARPER. The will was dated Sept. 16, 1905. /s/ E.W. ANSELL,CSC

11 Feb 1907 - Application for Letters of Administration. Geo. A. DOXEY, executor, states that Zachariah M. DOXEY is dead and that his property consists of notes, cattle, household & kitchen furniture & cash and that Geo. Ambrose DOXEY and Willis H. DOXEY, both of Poplar Branch, N.C. are entitled to the said property. /s/ G.A. DOXEY
