George the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and
Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. To the Sheriff of the County of
Currituck Greeting. We Command you that you take the body of Jacob FARROW
late of your County Esquire. (if to be found in your Bailiwick) and him
safely keep, so that you have him before our Chief Justice, and his
Associates, at our next Superior Court of Justice, to be held for the
District of Edenton at the Court-house in Edenton on the XXVth
Day of Aprill next; then and there to answer to Ignatius SCARBROUGH
who hier by Augustine SCARBROUGH his guardian & next friend of a plea
wherefore with force and arms & so forth damage one hundred pounds
proclamation money of North Carolina. Herein fail not; and have you
there this Writ. Witness Martin HOWARD Esq.; Chief Justice of our
said Province, at Edenton the IVth Day of November in the XIth
