Researchers--you will have to scroll across this page to view different portions of the map.  I had to make it large enough so you would be able to read the names of the land owners that were printed on it.  A few of the names are too light to read but most of them are readable.  In July 1819 Hamilton Fulton, Scottish Engineer, emigrated to North Carolina and became Chief Engineer for the State.  You'll find his name listed at the top of this map.
