Christopher Columbus Doxey
Christopher Columbus Doxey, son of
Isaac & Louretta Doxey, was born in Currituck Co. on Jan. 28, 1873 and
died in Elizabeth City, NC on Apr. 28, 1957 [see his
death certificate]. He was first married to Annie R. Caton
(1877-1899) on Aug. 26, 1896; 2nd to Alice E. Butler on
Mar. 24, 1901 and 3rd to Ola Belangia (1880-1938) on June
1, 1902. Columbus and his third wife, Ola, are buried in the
Caton Cemetery in Currituck, NC. The first marriage produced 3 children:

2) Ethel Doxey - b. Aug. 22, 1899 d.
