Located on N.C. Highway 34 just north of Coinjock Causeway near Maple.  Presently owned by Mrs. A.J. Gibbs of Sligo.  A note was inserted on the photograph which read: Owned 1972 by James L. Simmons.  Brick in chimney of date 1860.  Put together with pegs.  Sills are hand hewn.  Mrs. Simmons will be glad to furnish a more recent picture.  All fireplaces still usable and there is an unusual V in the chimney.  10/17/78
