Benjamin Walker Lewis

Benjamin, son of John Quincy Lewis (June 1825-after 1900) & Mary Elizabeth Chesson (1837-1929), was born Feb. 11, 1873 and died in Grandy, NC on April 9, 1951 [see death certificate].  He married Carrie Evans, daughter of Henry Evans (1844-1931) & Ann Matilda Dowdy (1851-1920), in Poplar Branch, NC on Aug. 14, 1901.  Carrie was born June 15, 1884 and died Sept. 8, 1972.
