At an Inferior Court of Pleas and Quarter Session held at the Courthouse for the said County on the first Tuesday in October Anno Domi
PRESENT HIS MAJESTY JUSTICES
These two wills to wit, the Last Will and Testament of Solomon ARMSTRONG and that of Robert HEATH were then and there exhibited in open court provid in due form of law the executors qualified they were ordered to be recorded and here they follow in these words accordingly to wit----

The Last Will and Testament of Solomon ARMSTRONG stands thus viz-----
In the name of God Amen, I Solomon ARMSTRONG of Currituck County in the province of North Carolina being sick and weak of body but of sound and perfect memory Thanks be to God for the same. Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form followeth.
Item: I gave my sole to the allmity God that was pleased to gave it to me and my body to the earth to be disantly buried at the disivilinon of my executors and my worly good as followeth-----

Item: I give and beqeth to my Son John part of my plantation that formly belonged to Samuell JONES to him and his heirs forever. Likewise a entry which I have made from John ETHERIDGE line keeping ?? back lines to the servay rode(?) so poled and what can be got over the rode to Benjamin NORTHERN and their heirs forever-------

Item: I give and bequeth to my two Brothers Jesse and James sixty acres of land that formely belonged to William SCOTT and ten acres that I bought of John MONCREEF be equally devied between them and their heirs forever------

Item: I give and bequeth to my Daughter Sallay one beed and three cows and calves------

Item: I give to my Sister Peggy one you and lamb and one cow and calf-------

My will and desier is that after my lawfull debts is paid that remainder of my estate equaly devieded betwen my well beloved wife and my two children (turn over) and make and ordain constitute and apoynt my beloved wife Elizabeth ARMSTRONG executrick and Benj. NORTHERN executor with my wife of this my Last Will and Testament give under my hand and seal this 26th day of May anno 1762
