In the name of God, Amen, I Mary AUSTN of the County of Currituck & State of No. Carolina being very sick & weak, but of Sound disposing mind & memory thanks be given unto God, Calling to mind the mortality of my body & knowing that is appointed once for all men to die, I do make and ordain this my last will and Testament that is to Say principally & first of all I recommend My Soul into the hands of Almighty that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executor, nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection, I Shall receive the Same again by the mightly power of God and as touching Such worldly estate wherewith I hath pleased God to bless me in the Life, I give and dispose of the Same in The following manner and form, first I give & bequeath to my Beloved friend Hezekiah FARROW that is to Say one feather bed and Furniture & five head of cattle, and all the rest of my Estate That belongs to me, agreeable to my husband Thomas AUSTIN last will and Testament to him and his heirs forever. I likewise make and appoint ordain my friend Thomas FARROW and Hezekiah FARROW my shoel and Sole executor, to this my last Testament & to Settle my estate according to this my Last will and Testament & as the Law Shall direct in witness I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 7th Day of September, One thousand eight hundred and five.
