The Last will & Testament of Polly BALLANCE decd Exhibited at Novr Term 1833 was proven by the oath [of] W.W. BALLANCE a witness thereto the Exor Qualifyed & ordered Recorded.
In the name of God Amen I Polly BALLANCE being sick & weak in body but of sound disposing mind & memory thanks be to God for the same and calling to mind the mortality of my poor body and that it is appointed that all must die do on this 16th day of Sept 1833 make ordain and constitute this my will & manner & form following.
first I commend my soul to God who gave it to me and my body to be buried in a decent Christian like manner by my Executor hereafter named and as touching such worldly goods as it has pleas God to bless me with I give it as follows
Item 1st I give and bequeath unto Chloe GREGORY Daughter of Luke GREGORY and Angelico GREGORY his wife and Charlott BALLANCE daughter of Willoughby W. BALLANCE and Cortney his wife all my estate real and personal to be equally divided between the said Chloe GREGORY and Charlott BALLANCE to them and their Heirs forever and it is my will and desire that there shall not be a sale but the property to be praysed and divided and I do constitute nominate and appoint my friend Isaac BAXTER my hole and sole executor to this my Last Will & testament
