The Last Will and Testament of Grandy BARNARD was exhibited in open court at Feb. term 1839 and duly proved by the oath of Saml. FERIBEE and William ANDERSON subscribing evidences thereto in due form ordered recorded.
In the name of God Amen I Grandy D. BARNARD being in sound mind and memory but very feeble in health do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the following manner.
I loan all of my Property both Real and Personal unto my brother Willoughby BARNARD during his natural life to him or his Heir or Heirs Lawfully begotten by his body. For want of such heir or heirs I then bequeath and Give all my property both Real and personal unto my Uncle Grandy BARNARD and his heirs forever.
I nominate and appoint my friend John HUMPHRIES my Executor to this my last will and Testament given under my hand and Seal the 4th day of August 1838.
