The last will and Testament of Mava BARNARD deceased was exhibited in open court at Nover. Term 1843 and the execution of the same proved by the oath of Thomas A. DOUGH one of the subscribing evedences there to in due form ordered Registered.
1833 April the 25 - State of North Carolina. Currituck County. To whom it may concern that I Mava BARNARD do make this my last will & Testament & of the following mentioned property viz.
I give and bequeath unto my Son Warren A. DOUGH two negroes known by the name of Rose and Mark one set of Silver table spoons marked T.S.G. Also to Warren A. DOUGH all my money and notes of hand, except one hundred dollars to be given to my Daughter Mava MILLER by Warran A. DOUGH out of said money and notes.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary PERKINS one bed and stead with usual furniture.
I give to the surviving heirs of my Daughter Sarah HOWARD five dollars each.
I give and bequeath unto Warran A. DOUGH all the residue of my estate real & personal chattle and pareshable by these presents I do hereby acknowledge this my last will and Testament day and date above written I have here unto set my hand and seal
