The Last will and testament of John BECHAM was Exhibited at August Term 1832 and proven by the oath Thos. B. JARVIS a subscribing witness thereto the Executor Qualifyed and ordered to be recorded.

In the name of God amen I John BEACHAM of Currituck County and State of North Carolina being of Sound and perfect mind and memory Blessed be God do this the 10th day of May in the year of our Lord 1832 make and publish this my Last will and Testament in manner following that is to say.

First. I give to my Brother Thos. BEACHAM all my write of land on the Banks and one stir [steer] on Mr. Fredric OWENS marsh and 1 cow and calf on Dusequarters first choise.

I give to my Brother Burket BECHAM all my write and porshion of land on Dusequarter Island and one cow & calf second chois and one ster on Dusequarter Island first chois one bead and furnature first choice also one chest an my gun to Burket BEACHAM.

I give my Brother Boyed BEACHAM all my stock of hogs on Dusequarter and 1 bed and furnature second chois.  I give Boyed one cow and calf 3 choise also one table first choise and one hand mill.

I give to my Sister Betsey BEACHAM one heifer I give to my on Dusequarter about 3 years old at this time one chest and one Lining wheel and one table 2 chois.

I give to my Sister Nicey BEACHAM 1 loom 1 bofat and furnature and one wollen wheal and all the pot ware belonging to me now in possession of my Mother and set of sitting chairs.

I also give to Love HOBBS and George HOBBS and James HOBBS Three dollars among the 3 that is to say one dollar each to be paid to them by my Executor when he thinks proper.

I also give the remander of my property that is not mentioned before Equally to be divided between Thos. BEACHAM and Burket BEACHAM and Boyed BEACHAM and I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend and Brother Thos. BEACHAM Executor to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have set my hand & affixed my seal day and date Before written
