In the name of God Amen, I William BEASLEY of the State of North Carolina and County of Currituck being sick and weak but perfeck in mind and memory thanks be unto God for it calling unto mind the mortality of man have a mind to settle my worldly business in manner and form as follows do make this my Last Will and Testament first I give my soul to God who gave it and my body to be buried in a christian like manner at the discression of my executors and my worldly goods in manner and form as follows.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Wife Nancy BEASLEY one mare by name Ginna one feather bed and furniture choice one cow and calf choice one sow and pigs choice I also lend my negro woman naimed Dinah unto my Wife during her life and after her death to be equally divided between William BEASLEY Julia STONE Polly WHITEHURST Nancy BEASLEY and Sally ANSEL.

Item. I give unto my Daughter Betsey WHITE five dollars cash to be paid at the setling of my estate.

Item. I give unto my Daughter Sally ANSEL five dollars cash to be paid at the setleing of my estate.

I leave the north side of my land and plantation whereon I now live to be rented out ten years from this date by my executor and the monies arising therefrom to be equally divided between William BEASLEY Julia STONE Michael BEASLEY Polly WHITEHURST Nancy BEASLEY and after the term of ten years I give it to my Grand Son Tulley BEASLEY Son of John BEASLEY in case he should die without a lawful heir lawfully begotten by his body my will is that Henry BEASLEY his Brother should heir it beginning at a cedar stake in edge of a branch a south easterly course from my house running westardly course through the field to a aple tree from thence to a cedar stake near the oald house yopon nursery from thence continuing a westardly course to a pine in the edge of the woods thence by a line of marked trees to the main road then the road being the line a northwardly course to John JONES's line thence a eastwarly course down the said line to the branch from thence a southwardly course the branch being the line to the first station.

Item. I give unto my Son John BEASLEY five dollars to be paid out of my moveable property to be paid by my executors at the setling of my estate also I leave him the little place whereon he now lives to stay at the term of ten years if he choses and if not to be rented out with the rest of the land.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son Malichi BEASLEY the south side of my land and plantation I now live on beginning the same cedar stake running the same westardly course and bounded by the same trees to the road thence the road being the line to James ANSELs and Charles LOVET's line and thence a northwardly course the branch being the line to the first station to him and his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son William BEASLEY the land I bought of Taylor BEASLEY as it stands bounded to him and his lawful heirs lawfully begotten by his body but in case he should die without a lawful heir lawfully begotten by his body my will is that my Son Michal BEASLEY should have the said also

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son Michael BEASLEY one negro girl named Ann but in case he should die without a lawful heir lawfully begotten by his body my will is that my Son William BEASLEY Sally ANSEL Julia STONE Polly WHITEHURST Nancy BEASLEY should have the same negro girl.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my three Daughters namely Julia STONE Polly WHITEHURST Nancy BEASLEY all the remainder of my property after my just and lawful debts being paid to be sold by my executors and equally divided between them and my will is that if either of them should die without a lawful heir lawfully begotten of their body for survivers to inherit the deces'd.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Nancy BEASLEY one negro girl child named Amy in case she should die without lawful heir lawfully begotten of her body my desire is that Sally ANSEL William BEASLEY Julia STONE Polly WHITEHURST Michael BEASLEY should have the same negro girl.

I nominate constitute and appoint my Son Mallichi BEASLEY and William BEASLEY to be my whole sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament. I renounce all other former wills by me made in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal to be affixed this fifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.
