I Richard BRENT of the County of Currituck State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner following.

Inprimis, I give to my Son John BRUNT the land I purchased of Brickhouse BELL, likewise I give him two sows and that he hath has got in possession.

Item: I give to my Son James BRUNT one third of the land I purchaced of James HUGHS and Benjamin CRAB he taking his part to next to Robert HEATHs line, the fifty acres I had of Benjamin CRAB to be included in his part, I likewise give him a cow about six years old and calf, likewise I give him a ewe and lamb, I also give him five shoats of year old, also one sow and seven piggs, also five barrells corn, also twenty five spanish milld dollars.

Item: I give to my beloved Wife Sarah BRUNT my horse and saddle, also a note against Hollowell ETHERIDGE for the sum of fifty pounds, also five sheep, also five cows also all the remaindor of my hogs large and small, also all my bees and honey, also two pots, also all my corn, also I lend her the best bed, bedstead and furniture during her natural life, also I lend her the use of my plantation whereon I now live till my Son Richard BRUNT comes to lawfull age.

Item: I give to my Son Richard BRUNT the land and improvements wheron I now live containing one hundred and thirty three acres and one third or thereabouts, also one feather bed, bedstead and furniture also one cow and calf also one ewe and lamb, also the sum of ten pounds or twenty five dollars.

Item: I lend to my Sister Nancy BRUNT the use of the land wheron she now live containing five acres or thereabouts during her natural life together with the privelidge of firewood and rail timber, and at her decease to go to my Son Thomas BRUNT.

Item: I give to my Son Thomas BRUNT the land and plantation whereon my Sister Nancy BRUNT now lives (my Wife Sarah BRUNT haveing the use of it during her widowhood) containing one hundred and thirty three acres and third or thereabouts.

I also give my Son Thomas BRUNT a mare colt, also a cow and calf, also a ewe and lamb, also ten pounds or twenty five dollars

Item: I give to my daughter Nancy BRUNT one bed, bedstead, and furniture, the second choice, also one cow and calf, also ten pounds or twenty five dollars.

Item: I give to my daughter Sukey BRUNT the bed, bedstead and furniture that I lent my Wife, also one cow and calf, also a ewe and lamb, also a bed chist, linen and wooling wheel.

The remainder of my estate in doors and out to be sold and equally divided amongst my six children.

I nominate constitute and appoint my Son James BRUNT, and Andrew BATES executors to this my Last Will and Testament revokeing and disanulling all former wills by me heretofore made this 23 day of December in the year 1793
