In the name of God Amen, I James CADON of Currituck County and State of North Carolina being very sick and weak in body, but in a rite mind and of disposing memory Think proper to make this my Last Will and Testament and first of all ------
Item I leave the hole of my estate to be sold both real and personal land and moveable for to pay my lawful debt if it should be required-----
Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Sarah CADON all the remains of my estate that is left after my lawful debts is paid both real and personal to her and her heirs for ever------
Revoking and disannuling all other wills and legaces ratifying and confirming this to be my Last Will and Testament----and lastly I appoint ordain and leave my dearly beloved Wife Sarah CADON my hole and sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament. In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of december in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five.
