The Last Will and Testament of DENNIS CAPPS was exhibited in open court and duly proven by the oath of Ezekiel BEASLEY one of the subscribing evidences thereto at Feby Term 1839 in due form and ordered recorded.

   In the name of God Amen. Being low in in [sic] sickness but in my sound senses I make this my last will and testament I give unto lend unto my Wife Amy CAPPS all of my property in doors and out as long as she remains my widow and to sell of this property as she thinks her her [sic] needs particularly negroes and if she remains mine until death the property she leaves to be sold and equally divided among my children.

   I give to my Daughter Hester Ann R. CAPPS Twenty Dollars Executor to her, her part of the money that my property sells for.

   I give unto my Daughter Sally CAPPS Twelve Dollars Executor to her share of the said property.

   I also leave my Wife Executrix and Ezekiel BEASLEY to superintend with her given under my hand and seal this the 24th of June 1835.
