In the name of God Amen, I Polly CASON of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of the body, that it is appointed for all men to die, I do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
Item I give to my Sisters Son William CASON my land that I heired by the death of my Father Jarvis ALLEN adjoining the land A. BAUM. Also one bed and chest to him and his heirs forever.
Item I give to Sabrina ONEAL all of my cloths and one wheel to her and her heirs forever
I assign this to be my last will and testament December 13, 1861.

The foregoing paper writing purporting to be the last will & testament of Polly CASON deceased, is exhibited in open court for probate and the execution thereof by the said Polly CASON is proved by the oath and examination of A.B. DUNTON one of the subscribing witnesses thereto. It is therefore considered by the court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last will and testament of the said Polly CASON and the same is ordered to be recorded & filed.
