The last will and testament of Seth CREAKMORE deceased was exhibited in open court at November term 1844 and the execution of the same proved by the oaths of Davis B. MORSE and Richard HUTCHENS subscribing evedences there to in due form and Horatio CREAKMORE executor there to quallifyed ordered recorded.
In the name of God Amen. I Seth CREAKMORE of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, planter, being in a low state of helth being of a sound and disposing mind and memory thanks be to God for the same do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament in the following manner and form viz.
Item 1 I give and bequeath unto my son Horatio CREAKMORE Forty acres of land that he has a deed for to him and his heirs for ever.
Item 2 I give to my daughter Elizabeth FULFORD Twenty five dollars to her and her heirs for ever.
Item 3 I give and bequeath unto my Two Grand Sons Sons of Elizabeth FULFORD fifty dollars each.
Item 4 I give to my daughter Elizabeth FULFORD Twenty five dollars to her and her heirs for ever.
Item 5 I give and bequeath to my three Grand daughters Ann PARSONS, Otelia PARSONS and Elizabeth PARSONS Twenty five dollars each.
Item 6 I give and bequeath unto my daughter Winny PARSONS one Hundred dollars to her and her heirs for ever.
Item 7 I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Nancy WILKINS one Hundred dollars to her and her heirs for ever.
Item 8 I give and bequeath unto my Two Grand Sons Seth CREAKMORE and John CREAKMORE Sons of John CREAKMORE dec’d. fifty dollars each after paying my just debts.
The balance of my estate not willed away I leave to be equally divided between my four [sic] daughters Elizabeth FULFORD, Winny PARSONS and Nancy WILKINS.
I nominate constitute and appoint my Son Horatio CREAKMORE executor to this my last will and Testament sealed with my seal on the 2 day of September in the year of one Thousand eight hundred and forty four.
