In the name of God Amen, I Peter DOUDGE of the State of North Carolina and County of Currituck being weak in body but of sound mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and constitute this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following Viz.
1st. I give and bequeath to my two Sons namley Petter DOUDGE & William DOUDGE all of my land to be equiley divided between them at the death of my Wife Dolley DOUDGE which land she is to have and to hold during her life.
2. I give to my Grand Daughter Lovey DOUDGE one bed and furniture & also one cow and her increase also one trunk & wheel.
3. I give to my Daughter Abiah DOUDGE one beed and furniture also one cow & her increas also one wheel.
4. I give to Benjamine DOUDGE Son of Willoughby DOUDGE one ewe lamb.
5. I give to my Son Petter DOUDGE two cows 2 yearlings also all of the hoggs that he has now in persion also one beead firniture also one colt if brought to perfection.
I give to my Son William DOUDGE one & her increase also all of the hoggs that I have before given him which he has in persion, also the hand mill at the death of his Mother also one beed and furniture at the death of his Mother & one chest also 6 stocks of bees also one martar(?) & iron pipel also one gun first choice and han saw.
I give to my Wife Doley DOUDGE all of my personel estate that is not all ready given away after paing my just debt during her life, then to be equley divided between my Daughter Abiah DOUDGE & Grand Daughter Lovey DOUDGE to them and their heirs forever.
I leave my Wife Dolly DOUDGE to be my exetrix als I leave James WILLIAMS to be one of my execr.
