Currituck CountyIn the name of God Amen. I Henry DOXEY in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight September the 16th, do make and publish this my last will and testament & revoking all others being in a low state of health but of sound mind and memory blessed be God.
Item 1 I lone unto my beloved wife Milbry DOXEY all of my lands and other property within doors and without doors her natural life and at her death I give to my daughter Sarah Ann DOXEY all of the above named land to her and her heirs forever.
Item 2 At the death of my beloved wife all of the balance of the property except the land I leave to be equally divided between all of my children namely Jesse, James & Sarah Ann to be equally divided between them.
Lastly I constitute my son James DOXEY executor to this my last will and testament In witness I hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written.
