In the name of God Amen I Thomas DUDLEY being in good mind and memory think it a time most proper to make this my last will and testament and do ordain it so to be.
1st I give and bequeath to my son David DUDLEY One Hundred dollars out of my estate.
2nd I give and bequeath to my son Dennis DUDLEY One Hundred dollars out of my estate.
3rd I give and bequeath to my son Charles DUDLEY One Hundred dollars out of my estate.
4th I lend one third of all my property to my wife Eliza DUDLEY until her death or marriage after paying my just and lawful debts.
5th The balance of my property I give and bequeath to son William DUDLEY, Virginia A. DUDLEY and Emily V. DUDLEY and also the property after my wifes death or marriage. I give to my three children named last to be equally divided between them then William DUDLEY, Virginia A. DUDLEY, and Emily V. DUDLEY.
I do make constitute and appoint my son William DUDLEY executor to this my last will and testament. I have hereunto set my hand and seal May 12 day 1856.

The foregoing paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Thomas DUDLEY deceased is exhibited for probate in open court by William DUDLEY the executor therein named and the due execution thereof by the said Thomas DUDLEY is proved by the oaths and examination of James W. MORSE & Hilliary H. SIMMONS the two subscribing witnesses thereto it is therefore considered by the court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last will and testament of the said Thos. DUDLEY and the same is ordered to be recorded & filed it first appearing that the heirs at law of said Thos. DUDLEY had notice that the said will would be offered for probate at this term of the court. And thereupon the said William DUDLEY the executor therein named appeared in open court & duly qualified as such by taking the oath required by law.And at the same time Eliza DUDLEY the widow of said Thomas DUDLEY appeared and entered her dissent from said will.
