In the name of God Amen, I Elender ETHERIDGE of the County of Currituck North Carolina, being in sound mind and memory Thanks be to Almighty God for it, I do therefore make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows Viz, first I recommend my soul unto Almighty God who gave it me, and my body I give to ye earth from whence it was taken to be buried in a christian like manner by and at the discretion of my executors hereafer named and as for my temporal estate I dispose of as followeth.

Item: I give my Grandaughter Sarah MILLER my Callamanco gound [gown]

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Elizabeth MILLER my damask gound and my Grandaughter Maryann MILLER calico gound.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Sarah ETHERIDGE one young heifer.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grandson Caleb ETHERIDGE my horse bridle and saddle to him and his heirs forever, and my chest, that I bought of Wm. HOLLOWAY and one young stear.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grand Son Caleb ETHERIDGE the money that is due to me by note from Amos ETHERIDGE.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grand Son Caleb ETHERIDGE one cow and calf.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grand Son Caleb ETHERIDGE all my credits and rightly of mine to him and his heirs forever.

My will and desire is that William LEE have one gound and one coat Joannah WARDING have all the rest of my cloaths.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Diniah MILLER one young heifer.

And I do nominate and appoint my Son Caleb ETHERIDGE to be my executor of this my Last Will and Testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal This 30th day of November 1772.
