In the Name of God, amen.  Solomon ETHERIDGE Being week of Body but of Sound Mind and Memory Blessed be the allmighty God for it I doe make & ordain this my Last will & Testament In manner and form as followeth.

Ims.  I Committ My Spiritt unto God that Gave it and my Body to be Decently Bured at the Deseretion of my Exectors

Item.  I Give and Bequeath unto my Eldest Son Abnor ETHERIDGE the plantation Which I now Lives on Containg to Too hundred and Eleven acres.

Item.  I Give and Bequeath unto my well Beloved wife Mary ETHERIDGE one Bed and firnetor one Cow and Calf and a too years old heffer one Linning Wheel during hir Natural Life Like Wise I do Give and Bequeath to my aforsaid Children to be Equelly devided after all my justly? [next word unreadable] paid all ye _____ of my hole Estate that is not before Given in this will Both real and personall Both with in Doors & with out to Be Equally [divided] betwen Solomon ETHERIDGE and Abasalom ETHERIDGE and Sarah ETHERIDGE and Lettisha ETHERIDGE and Barby ETHERIDGE and Rodah ETHERIDGE further I doe ordain and appoint my wife Mary ETHERIDGE my hole & sole Execator of this my last will and Testament as witness where of I have here unto Set my hand & Seal this 7th day of Novmr Annodom 1749.

Present His Majestys Justices
    Willis ETHREDGE and Caleb ETHREDGE Evidences to the within Will appeared in open Court & made oath that they were Present & Saw Solomon ETHREDGE Sign Seal Publish & Declare the within to be & Contain his Last Will & Testament and that the said Solomon ETHREDGE was then & at that Time of Sound and Disposing Memory.  But the Executrix Mentioned in said Will being also dead and Thomas BURGISS Appearing to this Court Greatest Creditor? (the Brother of the deced having Refused to take upon him the Burthen [burden] of the Administration) it is ordered that the said Thomas BURGESS have Administration on the Deceased Estate with the Will annexed, and ordered that the Honble Nathl RICE Secretary of the said Province have Notice thereof that Letters Testamentory Issue thereon as the Law Directs.
