Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Jean FEREBEE of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being very sick and weak of body, but of sound disposing mind and memory Thanks be to God for the same, do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament Viz.
Imprimus: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Nancey FEREBEE one negroe girl called Jude which I bought of John GRAVES, one dozen pewter plates, one large pewter bason and all my wearing apparrel, one gold ring and one pair of silver shoe buckles to her and her heirs forever, I do also hereby appoint my Sister Anne BRENT guardian to my Daughter Nancey FEREBEE, and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my friend William FEREBEE and my aforesaid Sister Anne BRENT my whole and sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament In testimony wherof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this first day of April Anno Dom. 1787.
