In the name of God Amen, I Peter FEREBEE of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being very sick in body but of sound disposing mind and memory Thanks be to God for the same, knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament.

Imprimus: I give and bequeath unto my Son Thomas FEREBEE all the land and plantation whereon I now live containing one hundred acres be the same more or less. One young horse called Sanus, one cow and calf, one feather bed and furniture, one ewe and lamb and one small pewter dish to be possessed there with when he arrives to lawfull age or marries to him and his heirs for- ever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Miriam FEREBEE one feather bed and furniture, two cows, and calves, one large pewter dish, one small ditto, one pewter bason, six pewter plates, one iron pott of about five gallons, and one chest called mine to be delivered her when she arrives to lawfull age or marries to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Nancey FEREBEE one piece of land that I bought of Jesse SIMMONS containing fifty acres (after her mothers death) also one feather bed and furniture to be delivered her at her marriage or arriving to lawfull age to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I leave the use of the land and plantation and all other articles given to my Son Thomas FEREBEE (except my young horse Sanus which I desire to be sold and the money put to interest) to my beloved Wife Jean FEREBEE until my said Son Thomas FEREBEE arrives to lawfull age or marries, Also I leave my afsd Wife Jean FEREBEE the use of all the articles and things given to my Daughter Miriam FEREBEE until my afsd Daughter Miriam arrives to lawfull age or marries.

Item: I leave the use of all my goods and chattels rights and credit not yet given away to my beloved Wife Jean FEREBEE during her natural life, to raise support and educate in the best manner she is capible of, all my children to wit. Thomas, Miriam and Nancey FEREBEE untill they arrive to lawfull age or marries, and after her death to be equally divided between my two Daughters Miriam FEREBEE and Nancey FEREBEE, lastly I nominate and appoint my beloved Wife Jean FEREBEE and my friend William FEREBEE my whole and sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 15th day of April Anno Dom. 1786.
