I Wallace FLANIGAN of Knotts Island said county & state do publish and declare this to be my last will & testament in manner and form to wit.First. I lend to my daughter Alice V. WATERFIELD my home farm running a ditch bank on the west from north east corner of J.B. JONES land north to the land of Any ANSELL (heirs) in case she dies without an heir of her own body, then the said property shall go to my daughter Cora L. WATERFIELD or her lawful heirs.
Second - I lend to my daughter Cora L. WATERFIELD the place on which she now resides, running from said ditch west to the marsh. In case she dies without an heir of her own body, then the property shall go to my daughter Alice V. WATERFIELD or her lawful heirs.
Third - I give to my daughter Cora L. WATERFIELD all my personal property as my daughter Alice V. WATERFIELD now owns the one half.
Fourth - All money which I may have at the time of my death shall be equally divided between my grandchildren - Garland and Reathe WATERFIELD.
Fifth - It is my desire that no timber shall be cut from any of the lands named in this will for any purpose except for use on said land.
Sixth - In case both my daughters die without an heir then in that case all the real estate shall be equally divided between Robt. H. GREGORY and John W. GREGORY, JR.
Seventh - I give to Garland WATERFIELD my large trunk and my bed.
Eighth - It is my desire that no land which I have given away by this will shall be sold within thirty years from date.
Ninth - I hereby appoint W.E.W. CAPPS executor to this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of May 1902.
