     Currituck County    }    Feb. 6th 1895
    I J.F. FROST being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertanty of my earthly existeance do make and declare this to be my last will and testament in the mannor and form following.

First.  It is my wish that my executrix hereinafter named shall pay all of my just debts and to assist her in doing so she may sell the land that I bought of Dozier A. McBRIDE it being one half of the Chaple Bridge track of land and also the road and water lot that I bought of Cousey SAWYER and wife to sell the same private or publick which ever she may think best and give a fee simple deed.

Sec.  That after my just debts are paid I give the remainder of my chattle property to my wife S.M. FROST to her and her heirs for ever.

Thirdly.  I loan to my wife all my lands not otherwise disposed of during her life time at her death then equely betweene our children except as to my son C.C. FROST if he shall pay a note he gave me for one hundred dollars then he to share equel the said note I have transfered to my daughter Ida T. FROST I owing her.

Lastly.  I leave my beloved wife S.M. FROST my executrix to my estate and it is my express wish that she shall not be required to give bond as such.

[NOTE:  Cemetery records indicate that John F. Frost was born Dec. 1, 1828 and died Nov. 20, 1900.  His wife, Sarah M. Frost was born Jan. 11, 1836 and died July 29, 1915.  Marriage records indicate that Ida T. Frost married George W. Cartwright on June 20, 1899.  The C.C. Frost mentioned in this will could be Charles Frost whose marriage to Mattie Nichols in 1880 is recorded in Currituck Co.]
