Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Bridgett GAMEWELL of the State of North Carolina and County of Currituck being weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory thanks to God for the same and therefore make and establish this to be my Last Will and Testament. First I recommend my soul to God that gave it me and my body to the care of my executors in hopes to be buried in a Christian like manner and as such worldly goods as it hath been pleased God to bless me with I give in manner as follows.
Item: I give to my beloved friend Nathaniel GAMEWELL my bed and furniture to him and his disposial forever.
Item: I give to my beloved friend Willis GAMEWELL my cow and heifer
Item: I give unto my beloved friend Verhey GAMEWELL my linnen wheel and my wearing cloke to his disposial forever.
Item: I give unto my beloved friend James GAMEWELL all the rest of my estate real and personal to him and his disposial forever and I also do constitute and appoint James GAMEWELL my hole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of August 1805.
