Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Thomas GLASGOW of the County of Currituck, being sick in body but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in form and manner following Viz.
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Aggey BURGES the sum of four pounds or eight dollars.
Item I give to my Daughter Fawnia SANDERLIN the sum of four pounds or eight dollars.
Item I give to my Daughter Ann JONES the sum of four pounds or eight dollars.
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah GLASGOW the land whereon I now live which I purchased of John BRENT containing one hundred ten acres to her and her heirs forever. I also give my said Daughter Sarah all the remainder of my goods and chattles boath in doors and out to her and her heirs forever.
I do nominate constitute and appoint my friend Andrew BATES and James BRAY executors to this my Last Will and Testament revoaking all former wills in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 12th day of May 1798
