Sept. 30, 1746 - April 7, 1747
In the Name of God, Amen.
I William GLASGOW Being Sick and Weak But in perfect Sence and Memmory praised be God for it I Do Make this my Last Will and Testament. My Will and Desire is that my Son Caleb GLASGOW have all my Land on the Westward Side of the Road Joyning to ye Plantation I live on it being part of the New Entry to him and his heirs for Ever and all ye Cattle that is in his own proper Marke. I also Desire that the Child my Wife is Now Big with if a Male Child Should have all my Land on ye Eastward Side of the Road Known by the Name of the New Entry to him and his heirs for Ever, and if that Child my Wife is Now Big with Should Die or be a feamale then my Desire is that my Dafter Sarah have the Land on ye East Side of the Road as before Mentioned to her and her Heirs for Ever. I Likewise Give my Dafter Sarah all ye Cattle in her own proper mark it being ye mark Given her by her Grandfather. I Likewise Give my Dafter Abiah one Cow and Calf. I also Give to my Dafter Elizabeth one Cow and Calf. And I also Give the Child my Wife Now Goes with one Cow and Calf. And as Touching Touching [sic] the rest of my Estate my Desire is that my Loving Wife Susanah GLASGOW have all the Rest of my Estate to Bring up my Children and Give them Learning Suteable to theire Stations. And I also appoint my Loveing wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 30th Day of Septr, 1746.

Currituck County } on Tuesday the Seventh Day of April anno Dom 1747Present His Majestys Justices
These may Certify that William SHERGOLD Peter DAUGE and William BRAY Subscribing Evidences to the within Will appeared in open Court and made oath on the Holy Evangelist that they were Present and Saw William GLASGOW Sign Seal Publish & declare the within to be & Contain his Last will & Testament and that the said William was at that Time of Sound & Disposing Memory. Then also appeared Susanah GLASGOW Executrix in Open Court and took the Exers oath in due form of Law. Ordered that the Honble Nathl RICE Esqr Secretary of this sd Province have Notice thereof that Letters Testamentory Issue thereon as the Law Directs.
