Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Griffith GRAY being weak of body but sound disposing mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life, and that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this instrument my Last Will and Testament, in manner and form following.
Imprimis: I give and bequeath unto my Son Amos GRAY my land and plantation and one pewter dish after the decease of my beloved Wife ANNA GRAY to him and his heirs forever.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Anna GRAY the use of all the remainder of my estate, within doors and without during her natural life, and at her decease to be equally divided between my three children Timothy GRAY, Agness GRAY and Nancy GRAY to them and their heirs forever.
Lastly I will and desire that my Wife Anna GRAY and John JERVISE be and are hereby appointed and ordained executors to this my Last Will and Testament given under my hand and seal this sixth day of March 1805.
